Hand-Held Items Are Gone When Returning to the Game

Items held in hand at logout can appear to vanish on return. Usually they were either auto-equipped to an open slot or sent back to your hab, and this only happens when logging out away from your Primary Residence.

Recommended steps

1. Check your hab for the item
2. If it's there with no interaction options, drag it into an inventory slot to make it interactable again
